Injecting a bit of fun at Singpore's i3throughIT healthcare conference

Fri, 23 Jul 2011 00:00:05 GMT

The XML Solutions team were pitted against the big international consultancies PWC and Accenture in the "IronChef Health DIVA" competition organised by MOHH. The brief: to conceive and design nine integrated futuristic healthcare apps for portable devices within an hour. The lighthearted interlude for delegates was part of the programme for the two day Singapore i3throughIT conference.

XML Solutions associate Dr. Adam Towler's fantastic performance deserved to win it for us, however technical issues (MS PowerPoint) and a misunderstanding of the rules (our apps were too futuristic) were our undoing. PWC emerged as the eventual winners - however the XML Solutions team could take comfort in winning the popular vote as recorded by votes placed on the pigeonhole application.

Many thanks to the delegates who worked with us to design the apps along with their logos.
